Panic alarms are ideal for:
- vulnerable staff members
- lone workers
- the elderly or infirm
They are increasingly used in schools, hospitals and for lone workers such as security guards and night time shift workers.
Flexible usage:
Panic alarms can either be used as a personal alarm, worn round the neck or attached to a belt or can be fixed in a single position; for instance under a desk. They can be hard wired or wireless, making positioning very flexible and can be silent or audible as desired. If connected to an alarm panel, a keyholder can be alerted in response to a single "push" of the button.
If a police response is required, a double "push" of the panic alarm button will call them to the location.
Integrated with an alarm system:
Panic alarms can easily be integrated with alarm systems so that if a keyholder is not contactable, attention can be drawn via the property's alarm system.
