When installing intruder alarms with alarm monitoring, you also choose which type of signalling system you wish to use. The signalling system communicates between your alarm and the alarm receiving centre in the event that your alarm is triggered.
The Redcare GSM system offers the highest level of protection you can buy (along with DualCom). It uses a dual path system whereby a constantly monitored BT phone line and O2s mobile phone network continuously communicate with the alarm receiving centre (ARC). If either pathway fails or is deliberately cut, the ARC is immediately notified. If the failure is confirmed by a second zone being breached, then the ARC contacts the emergency services and dispatches them to your premises.
Redcare GSM conforms to the latest police policies on confirmed alarms and is a Secured by Design product which means it has preferred specification status with the Police in the UK. It meets Grade 4 of the European Standard 50131.
