Restricted vision
A smokecloak system is connected with your existing alarm system and, when triggered, will fill the area where it is installed with fog, restricting visibility and preventing intruders from seeing and seizing goods. As a smokecloak can fill an area of 100m squared in under 30 seconds, it will quickly disorientate intruders.
Deploying fog into a room will inhibit vision so it is likely the intruders will quickly vacate the premises. If they fail to leave immediately, then combined with a burglar alarm that is linked to the police, can lead to a prompt arrest.
Will a smokecloak damage my stock?
The fog generated by a smokecloak is made from a vaporised glycol solution. This is a non-toxic solution and won’t damage your stock or possessions. This means that should the smokecloak be triggered, you won’t have to spend time cleaning equipment or disposing of damaged goods.
Combined protection
A smokecloak alone will not provide the protection a premises needs to stay safe. The system should be combined with a working intruder alarm system and even CCTV systems. Installing external CCTV at your premises can allow for identification of intruders where internal systems are blocked by the fog.
