How do domestic fire sprinklers work?
If a fire were to break out in your home, the head of the nearest sprinkler will be activated. This will cause a release of water over the fire. A domestic fire sprinkler typically outputs around 49 litres of water every minute, which is less than the volume of water you would get with a traditional fire hose. Although fire sprinklers are associated with damage, in the event of a fire, they could make all the difference in saving your life.
